Cuyuna State Recreational Area
15 miles northeast of Brainerd on Highway 210
25 miles of underdeveloped shoreline. 5,000 acres of former mining pits and rock deposit stockpiles - mostly undeveloped - that have created Minnesota's newest lakes. A favorite for scuba diving and trout fishing. No off-road vehicles are permitted.
